A lex
Alex é engenheiro, biólogo e artista plástico residente na cidade de Curitiba. Traz em seus trabalhos os resultados de seus estudos pessoais sobre o expressionismo e outros movimentos artísticos, como o cubismo e a arte abstrata.
Seus conhecimentos na área ambiental – é especialista em Mudanças Climáticas e mestre em Conservação da Natureza – podem ser observados em algumas de suas artes, hoje encontradas em coleções particulares de vários países, como Emirados Árabes, Estados Unidos e Japão.
Entre exposições coletivas e individuais, teve duas de suas obras exposta, em 2019, na “Exposição Contemporânea de Artes Visuais”, organizada pela APAP/PR (Associação Profissional dos Artistas Plásticos do Paraná), em parceria com a Bienal de Curitiba, o maior evento de arte contemporânea do sul do Brasil.
Em 2021, suas pinturas foram premiadas na “I mostra Visões da Arte”, no Palacete dos Leões, em Curitiba, um evento realizado entre a parceira da APAP/PR, a ACCUR (Academia de Cultura de Curitiba) e o BRDE (Banco Regional de Desenvolvimento do Extremo Sul).
Alex is an engineer, biologist, and visual artist based in Curitiba. His work reflects his personal studies of expressionism and other artistic movements, such as cubism and abstract art.
His environmental expertise—he specializes in climate change and holds a master's degree in nature conservation—can be seen in some of his artwork, now found in private collections in several countries, including the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and Japan.
Among group and solo exhibitions, two of his works were exhibited in 2019 at the "Contemporary Visual Arts Exhibition," organized by APAP/PR (Professional Association of Visual Artists of Paraná), in partnership with the Curitiba Biennial, the largest contemporary art event in southern Brazil.
In 2021, his paintings won an award at the "I Visões da Arte" exhibition at the Palacete dos Leões in Curitiba, an event held between APAP/PR's partner, ACCUR (Curitiba Academy of Culture) and BRDE (Regional Development Bank of the Far South).
